3/4 Hizb 37
< random >
۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 Then Pharaoh sent heralds to the cities (to mobilise troops) 53 "These," they said, "are only a small band, 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
