۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 [And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 But we are a fully accounted army." 56 So We removed them from gardens and springs 57 and [deprived them of their erstwhile] station of honour!" 58 As such we gave it to the Children of Israel. 59 The people of the Pharaoh pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He said: Nay, verily! for lo! my Lord is with me. He will guide me. 62 So We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Strike the sea with your staff”; thereupon the sea parted; so each part was like a huge mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily! In this is indeed a sign (or a proof), yet most of them are not believers. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
