۞ And We sent the divine revelation to Moosa that, “Journey along with My bondmen within the night, for you will be pursued.” 52 And Pharaoh sent forth heralds to all the cities. 53 (Saying): "Verily! These indeed are but a small band. 54 And verily they have enraged us. 55 "But we are host all assembled, amply forewarned." 56 and so we have [rightly] driven them out of [their] gardens and springs, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Thus we let the Israelites inherit them all. 59 At sunrise, they followed them. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 We delivered Moses and every one with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 67 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 68
