The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 I am not going to drive away any believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest afterwards 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
