The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 span class="col">Their brother Noah asked them, "Why do you not fear God? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 It is only for my Lord to take account of them. Would that you made use of your understanding! 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will be stoned to death." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him, in the Ark filled (with all creatures). 119 and drowned the rest. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 122
