The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 and drowned the rest. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
