The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you have no fear of God? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
