Hizb 38
< random >
The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they do? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
