The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 Have fear of God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Their reckoning rests with none but my Sustainer: if you could but understand [this]! 113 I would not drive away the believers; 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said: my Lord! verily my people have belied me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. 121 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Ever Compassionate. 122
