The people of Noah gave the lie to the Messengers. 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 Hence, remain conscious of God, and pay heed unto me!" 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We saved him and those with him in a laden ship. 119 then afterwards We drowned the rest. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And lo, thy Lord, He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
