The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Their reckoning is upon my Lord, if ye but knew. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said: My Lord! Surely my people give me the lie! 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
