Alshu'araa' 6 of 11

The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we accept you even though it is the meanest of people who follow you?" 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 There is certainly a sign in that; but most of them do not believe: 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
