And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 fear God, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They said: Shall we put faith in thee, when the lowest (of the people) follow thee? 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
