The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 I ask no payment from you for my preaching. The Lord of the Universe will give me my reward. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 Therefor judge Thou between us, a (conclusive) judgment, and save me and those believers who are with me. 118 Wherefore We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
