The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: I have no knowledge of that which they have been Working. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 'I am naught but a plain warner.' 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Judge among us and save me and the believers with me". 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Indeed in this is a sign; and most of them were not believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
