And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am none but a plain warner." 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 122
