And Nuh's people belied the sent ones. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 For this I ask of you no wage, for my wage falls only on the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: "It is not for me to know what they were doing. 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 "I am not one to drive away those who believe. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said: If thou cease not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be among those stoned (to death). 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 Therefore judge Thou between me and them with a (just) judgment, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
