The people of Noah accused the apostles of lies. 105 when Noah, their brother, said to them: 'Will you not be cautious? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 108 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 He said: And what knowledge have I of what they may have been doing (in the past)? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 I am certainly not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
