The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain admonisher." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will be stoned." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We delivered him, and those with him, in the laden ship, 119 Then after it, We drowned the rest. 120 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
