The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I am a trustworthy Messenger to you; 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 I ask of you no recompense for it, for my only reward is with the Lord of the Universe, 109 So fear Allah and obey me' 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 My Lord alone can bring them to account, if only you could understand, 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 "I am sent only to warn plainly in public." 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
