The people of Noah also rejected the messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They replied: 'Are we to believe you whom the lowliest follow' 111 He said: 'I have no knowledge of what they have done. 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 I do not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said: "If you cease not, O Nuh (Noah)! You will surely be among those stoned (to death)." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 We saved him and those who were with him in the laden ship, 119 and drowned the rest. 120 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
