The people of Noah rejected the Messengerss. 105 when their brother Noah said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 106 I am for you an honest Messenger, 107 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 108 And I ask of you no hire therefor; my hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 He said, 'What knowledge have I of that they have been doing? 112 It is for my Lord to bring them to book, if you can understand. 113 And I am not going to drive away the believers; 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said, 'My Lord, my people have cried me lies, 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 and then We caused those who stayed behind to drown. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
