The people of Nuh (Noah) belied the Messengers. 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 107 "So fear Allah, keep your duty to Him, and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 Noah said: "What knowledge do I have about their deeds? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 "And I am not going to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, "Noah, if you do not desist, you will, certainly, be stoned to death." 116 He said, “My Lord, my people have denied me.” 117 Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
