The nation of Noah, belied their Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 So be fearful of God and listen to me. 108 And I do not ask you any reward for it; my reward is only with the Lord of the worlds: 109 So fear God and follow me." 110 ۞ They said, 'Shall we believe thee, whom the vilest follow?' 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if you could (but) know. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a warner manifest. 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 In this [story,] behold, there is a message [unto men,] even though most of them will not believe [in it]. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
