The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 when their brother Noah said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 106 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust: 107 so fear Allah and obey me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in you, when the meanest (of the people) follow you?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 "Their account is only with my Lord, if ye could (but) understand. 113 And I am not one to drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 'Noah' they replied, 'if you do not desist you shall be of those stoned' 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 So pass a clear judgement between me and them and rescue me and the believers with me." 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the loaded ark, 119 Then We drowned the rest thereafter. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 122
