Samood gave the lie to the apostles 141 When their brother Salih said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 142 Surely I am a faithful apostle to you 143 So fear Allah, and obey me. 144 And I ask of you no hire therefor; MY hire is but with the Lord of the worlds. 145 Will you be left secure in this, 146 amidst the gardens, springs, 147 And green crops (fields etc.) and date-palms with soft spadix. 148 You hew dwellings in mountains and exult in that. 149 So fear Allah, and obey me. 150 "And follow not the bidding of those who are extravagant,- 151 "Who make mischief in the land, and mend not (their ways)." 152 They said: thou art but one of the bewitched; 153 thou art naught but a mortal, like us; then produce a sign, if thou art one of the truthful.' 154 Replied he: "This she-camel shall have a share of water, and you shall have a share of water, on the days appointed [therefor]; 155 and do her no harm, lest suffering befall you on an awesome day!" 156 But they hamstrung her and then regretted it. 157 and torment struck them. In this there is evidence of the Truth, yet many people do not have any faith. 158 Your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 159

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
