The folk of Lot denied the messengers (of Allah), 160 When their brother Lout (Lot) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 161 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 162 “Therefore fear Allah and obey me.” 163 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 164 "Go you in unto the males of the 'Alamin (mankind), 165 And leave what your Lord has created for you as mates? But you are a people transgressing." 166 They said, "If you do not desist, O Lot, you will surely be of those evicted." 167 He said, "Indeed, I am, toward your deed, of those who detest [it]. 168 My Lord, deliver me and my people from that they do.' 169 Thereupon We saved him and all his household 170 except an old woman who remained behind. 171 But the rest We destroyed utterly. 172 and We sent upon them a rain, an evil rain that fell on those who had been warned. 173 Surely, in that there is a sign. Yet most of them do not believe. 174 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 175
