Lot's nation, belied their Messengers. 160 Their brother Lot asked them, "Why do you not have fear of God? 161 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 162 So fear Allah and obey me. 163 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 164 Do you, in the world, want to have carnal relations with males 165 leaving your wives that your Lord created for you? Nay, but you are a people of transgressors. 166 They said, "If you do not desist, Lot, you will surely be banished." 167 He said, “I am disgusted with your works.” 168 My Lord, deliver me and my people from that they do.' 169 We therefore rescued him and his entire family. 170 except an old woman who remained behind. 171 We then destroyed the others. 172 And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned. 173 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 174 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 175
