The folk of Lot denied the messengers (of Allah), 160 When their brother Lot said to them: "Will you not take heed? 161 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 162 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 163 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 164 What, of all creation will you go to (fornicate with) the males, 165 And leave what your Lord has created for you as mates? But you are a people transgressing." 166 They said: "If you do not desist, O Lot, you will be expelled (from the city)." 167 He said, "I am one of those who abhors your ways. 168 My Lord! deliver me and my followers from what they do. 169 So We delivered him and his followers all, 170 save an old woman among those that tarried; 171 Thereafter, We utterly destroyed the rest, 172 We rained upon them a rain, and evil is the rain (of stones) on those that are warned. 173 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 174 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 175
