The folk of Lot denied the messengers (of Allah), 160 When their brother Lut said unto them: fear ye not? 161 I am for you a faithful Messenger, 162 "So fear Allah and obey me. 163 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 164 Do you, in the world, want to have carnal relations with males 165 “And leave the wives your Lord has created for you? In fact you are people who exceed the limits.” 166 They said, "Lot, if you do not give up preaching, you will certainly be expelled (from this town)". 167 He said: 'Truly, I am a detester of what you do' 168 My Lord! deliver me and my household from that which they work. 169 So We delivered him and his people all together, 170 Except one old woman who remained behind. 171 We then destroyed the others. 172 and We rained on them a rain; and evil is the rain of them that are warned. 173 Surely in this there is a sign: but most of them would not believe: 174 And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 175
