The companions of the thicket denied the messengers 176 when Shuaib said to them, 'Will you not be godfearing? 177 "I am a trustworthy Messenger to you. 178 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 179 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 180 ۞ Fill up the measure, do not be among the cheats, 181 and [in all your dealings] weigh with a true balance, 182 Wrong not mankind in their goods, and do not evil, making mischief, in the earth. 183 but be conscious of Him who has created you, just as [He created] those countless generations of old!" 184 They said, "You are no more than a bewitched and insane man 185 Thou art but a mortal like us, and lo! we deem thee of the liars. 186 Therefore cause a portion of the heaven to come down upon us, if you are one of the truthful. 187 He said, "My Lord is most knowing of what you do." 188 They rejected him and then the torment of the gloomy day struck them. It was certainly a great torment. 189 Verily in this was a sign, but most of them do not believe. 190 And indeed your Lord – only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 191
