The people of Aykah also gave the lie to the Messengers. 176 What time Shu'aib said unto them: fear ye not? 177 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 "No reward do I ask of you for it (my Message of Islamic Monotheism), my reward is only from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists). 180 ۞ Give full measure, and be not of those who cause others to lose. 181 "And weigh with scales true and upright. 182 And do not deprive people of their due and do not commit abuse on earth, spreading corruption. 183 Fear Him who created you, and the generations of the ancients.' 184 They said, "You are only of those affected by magic. 185 And thou art but a human being like unto us, and we deem thee to be of the liars. 186 "So cause a piece of the heaven to fall on us, if you are of the truthful!" 187 He said, "My Lord has full knowledge of all your actions." 188 Then they branded him a liar, whereupon the chastisement of the Day of Canopy overtook them. It was the chastisement of a very awesome day. 189 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 190 And lo! thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 191
