The companions of the thicket denied the messengers 176 when their brother Shu'ayb said unto them: "Will you not be conscious of God? 177 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 178 So fear Allah, and obey me. 179 And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. 180 ۞ Give full measure and do not be of those who cause loss. 181 Weigh your goods with proper balance 182 and diminish not the goods of the people, and do not mischief in the earth, working corruption. 183 "And fear Him Who created you and the generations of the men of old." 184 They said: "Thou art only one of those bewitched! 185 And thou art but a human being like unto us, and we deem thee to be of the liars. 186 "Now cause a piece of the sky to fall on us, if thou art truthful!" 187 He said: My Lord is Best Aware of what ye do. 188 But they belied him, then the punishment of the Day of Shadow (raining fire) seized them. Truly, it was the punishment of a dreadful day. 189 In this there is an evidence of the Truth, but many of them did not have any faith. 190 Your Lord, He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 191
