And verily it is a revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 Which the trusted spirit descended with 193 Upon thy heart, that thou mayst be (one) of the warners, 194 in the clear Arabic tongue. 195 This is (indicated) in the Books of earlier people. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that the learned among the Children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 And if We had revealed it (this Quran) unto any of the non-Arabs, 198 And he had read it unto them, even then they would not have been believers therein. 199 We have thus caused denial of truth to enter into the hearts of the sinners: 200 they will not believe in it till they behold the grievous suffering 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are not aware, 202 Then they will say: "Can we be respited?" 203 So do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Just think: If We let them enjoy (the good things of life) for a few years more, 205 then there comes on them that they were promised, 206 what avail will their past enjoyments be to them? 207 Never a city We destroyed, but it had warners 208 For reminder, for We never were oppressors. 209 The satans have not revealed the Quran; 210 Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it). 211 Truly, they are expelled from hearing. 212 So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished. 213 And admonish thy nearest kinsmen, 214 and spread the wings of thy tenderness over all of the believers who may follow thee; 215 Then if they disobey you say to them: "I am quit of what you do." 216 Put your trust in the Almighty, the Most Merciful, 217 Who sees you (O Muhammad SAW) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers). 218 And your movements among those who bow in homage to God. 219 He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the Satans come down? 221 They descend upon every sinful liar. 222 (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, the erring follow them, 224 Have you not seen how they wander in every valley, 225 And that they say what they do not do. 226 Except those who believed and did good deeds, and profusely remembered Allah, and took revenge after they had been wronged*; and soon the unjust will come to know upon which side they will be overturned**. (* The Muslim poets who praise Allah and the Prophet. ** The disbelievers will be punished.) 227
