And this is a revelation from the Lord of all the worlds, 192 Which the trusted spirit descended with 193 upon thy heart, [O Muhammad] so that thou mayest be among those who preach 194 in the clear Arabic tongue. 195 And verily it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a Sign to them that the Learned of the Children of Israel knew it (as true)? 197 Had We revealed it to a man of obscure tongue 198 And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused this [message] to pass [unheeded] through the hearts of those who are lost in sin: 200 they will not believe in it till they behold the grievous suffering 201 It will come upon them unawares, and they will not comprehend it. 202 And they will say, "May we be reprieved?" 203 Would they then wish for Our Torment to be hastened on? 204 What do you see? If We gave them enjoyment for years, 205 and then what they were promised comes to them, 206 What shall that which they enjoyed avail them? 207 Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners - 208 to admonish them. We have never been unjust. 209 And this Qur'an was not brought down by the devils. 210 nor does it behove them, nor does it lie in their power. 211 verily, [even] from hearing it are they utterly debarred! 212 So do not invoke with Allah another deity and [thus] be among the punished. 213 And warn thy clan, thy nearest kin. 214 And be kind and humble to the believers who follow you. 215 If they do not obey you, tell them: "I am not responsible for what you do." 216 Have trust in the Majestic and All-merciful God, 217 who sees thee when thou standest [alone,] 218 And (seeth) thine abasement among those who fall prostrate (in worship). 219 Surely He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend? 221 They come down on every guilty impostor. 222 They give ear, but most of them are liars. 223 And as for the poets -- it is the misled who follow them. 224 Do you not see that they wander about in every valley 225 and preaching what they themselves never practice. 226 Except those who believe, and do good works and remember Allah in abundance and became victorious after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will surely know which turn they will be returning to (Hell). 227
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

ColorfulQuran.com's English translation loads a random set of translators with equal probability, one translator for each verse. If you have difficulty understanding an interpretation, tap on the page number to reload it with a different set of translators. You may find it clearer, God willing. ColorfulQuran.com does not endorse or prefer any particular translation over another and displays it only for information.
Click or tap on "random" to go to any random page. Click or tap the triangle to the left of "random" to go to a random page before the current page, or the triangle to the right to go to a random page after the current page. Using these features of ColorfulQuran.com, you can use the right triangle or arrowhead to skim through the entire Holy Book from the first Surah, The Key (Al-Fatihah), to the last, The People (An-Nas), in a few minutes while stopping at random pages in between. This will make your readings cluster more on Juz Amma's short surahs at the end of the Quran. You can also do the same in reverse order using the left triangle or arrowhead, which will cluster your readings more at the beginning of the Holy Quran.
