And indeed this Qur’an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 which the truthful spirit has carried down 193 to your heart that you might become one of those who warn (others on behalf of Allah), 194 (a revelation) in clear Arabic language, 195 And most surely the same is in the scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a sign to them that the learned men of the Israelites know it? 197 If We had revealed it to a nonArab, 198 And he had recited it to them, and they had not believed (it would have been different). 199 Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Quran) to enter the hearts of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.). 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful torment; 201 It shall come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 Then they will say: "Shall we be respited?" 203 So do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Hast thou then seen, if We content them for (long) years, 205 And then there came to them that which they were promised? 206 what avail will their past enjoyments be to them? 207 And We destroyed no township but it had its warners 208 for a reminder, and We never harmed. 209 And the satans have not brought it down. 210 it behoves them not, neither are they able. 211 indeed they are debarred from overhearing it. 212 So call not thou unto another god along with Allah, lest thou be of the doomed. 213 And warn thy tribe of near kindred, 214 And lower thou thy wing unto those who follow thee as believers. 215 If they disobey you, say, "I bear no responsibility for what you do." 216 Put thy trust in the All-mighty, the All-compassionate 217 Who seeth thee when thou standest up (to pray) 218 and observes your movements among those who prostrate themselves. 219 He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend on every great accuser, extreme sinner. (The magicians) 222 They incline their ears, and most of them are liars. 223 And as to the poets, those who go astray follow them. 224 Do you not see that they wander about bewildered in every valley? 225 And they say what they do not do, 226 except those who believed and acted righteously and remembered Allah much, and when they themselves were subjected to wrong, they exacted retribution no more than to the extent of the wrong? Soon will the wrong-doers know the end that they shall reach. 227
