And indeed this Qur'an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 With it came down the spirit of Faith and Truth- 193 Upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - that you may be of the warners - 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 Its news was also mentioned in the ancient Books. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that the learned among the Children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 And if we had revealed it to any of the foreigners 198 In order that he read it to them, even then they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused this (Admonition) to penetrate the hearts of the culprits (like a hot rod). 200 They will not believe therein until they behold the torment afflictive. 201 So it will come upon them suddenly, whilst they will be unaware. 202 Then will they say: "Can we be given respite?" 203 Do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Then have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years 205 and then the promised punishment fell upon them, 206 That which they were made to enjoy shall not avail them? 207 We never destroyed any town without first sending to them warning and guidance. 208 To advise; and We never oppress. 209 The devils did not bring it down: 210 for, neither does it suit their ends, nor is it in their power [to impart it to man]: 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 So do not call any other god beside Allah lest you become of those who will be punished, 213 And warn thy tribe of near kindred, 214 and lower your wing to the believers who follow you. 215 Then if they disobey thee, say: "I am free (of responsibility) for what ye do!" 216 And rely upon the Exalted in Might, the Merciful, 217 Who seeth thee when thou standest up 218 and when thou turnest about among those who bow. 219 Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend on every guilty impostor. 222 (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, the erring follow them, 224 Do you not see that they wander about bewildered in every valley? 225 and they say what they do not do? 226 Except those who believed and did good deeds, and profusely remembered Allah, and took revenge after they had been wronged; and soon the unjust will come to know upon which side they will be overturned. 227
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
