And indeed, the Qur'an is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 brought down by the Faithful Spirit 193 Upon your heart that you may be of the warners 194 In a clear Arabic language. 195 Truly it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 Is it not a sign unto them that the learned among the Children of Isra'il know it? 197 If We had revealed it to a nonArab, 198 and had he recited it unto them [in his own tongue,] they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus do We cause (unbelief) to enter the hearts of sinners. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 But when it comes upon them suddenly, taking them unawares, 202 Then they will say: Are we to be reprieved? 203 Do they wish Us then to hasten the punishment? 204 Think! If We let them enjoy life for some years, 205 And then what they were promised comes upon them, 206 of what avail would their past enjoyment be to them? 207 We never destroyed any town without first sending to them warning and guidance. 208 and reminded: for, never do We wrong [anyone]. 209 And the satans have not brought it down. 210 for, neither does it suit their ends, nor is it in their power [to impart it to man]: 211 Verily far from hearing are they removed. 212 Therefore do not worship another deity along with Allah, for you will be punished. 213 And warn your nearest relations, 214 And be kind and humble to the believers who follow you. 215 And if they (thy kinsfolk) disobey thee, say: Lo! I am innocent of what they do. 216 Put thy trust in the All-mighty, the All-compassionate 217 who sees thee when thou standest 218 And your movement among those who prostrate. 219 Verily He! He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I inform you (O people!) upon whom the Shayatin (devils) descend? 221 They descend upon every calumniator, sinner. 222 They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars. 223 Only the erring people follow the poets. 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 and preaching what they themselves never practice. 226 Except those who believe and do good and remember Allah much, and defend themselves after they are oppressed; and they who act unjustly shall know to what final place of turning they shall turn back. 227
Almighty God's Truth.
