Truly, it is the sending of the Lord of the Worlds. 192 It has been revealed through the trustworthy Spirit 193 Upon your heart (O Muhammad SAW) that you may be (one) of the warners, 194 In the perspicuous Arabic tongue. 195 Truly it is in the Scriptures of the ancients. 196 And has it not been a sign to them that it is recognized by the scholars of the Children of Israel? 197 And if we had revealed it to any of the foreigners 198 And he had recited it to them [perfectly], they would [still] not have been believers in it. 199 Thus do We cause (unbelief) to enter the hearts of sinners. 200 They will not believe in it until they suffer the painful torment. 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are unaware, 202 They will therefore say, “Will we get some respite?” 203 Would they then wish for Our Torment to be hastened on? 204 Think! If We let them enjoy life for some years, 205 And then there cometh unto them that which they had been promised. 206 (How) that wherewith they were contented naught availeth them? 207 And We did not destroy any town but it had (its) warners, 208 for a reminder; and never did We wrong. 209 The satans have not revealed the Quran; 210 for, neither does it suit their ends, nor is it in their power [to impart it to man]: 211 Truly, they are expelled from hearing. 212 So do not call any other god beside Allah lest you become of those who will be punished, 213 And warn, [O Muhammad], your closest kindred. 214 And lower your wing to those who follow you of the believers. 215 And if they disobey thee, say thou: verily I am quit of that which ye work. 216 and place thy trust in the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 217 who sees thee when thou standest 218 and when you turn among those who prostrate themselves. 219 He is all-hearing and all-knowing. 220 Shall I tell you on whom the satans descend? 221 They descend on every lying (one who tells lies), sinful person. 222 who lends an ear to them, and most of them are liars. 223 Poets are followed by the perverse. 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 And that they say what they practise not?- 226 Save those that believe, and do righteous deeds, and remember God oft, and help themselves after being wronged; and those who do wrong shall surely know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
