And verily it is a revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 The honest Spirit (Gabriel) brought it down 193 Upon your heart, for you to convey warning. 194 In plain Arabic speech. 195 Its news was also mentioned in the ancient Books. 196 Is not the fact (that the Israelite scholars already knew about the Quran through their Book) sufficient evidence for the pagans of the truthfulness (of the Quran)? 197 (But such is their adamance) that had We revealed it to one of the non-Arabs and even if he had recited (this clear Arabic discourse) to them 198 So that he should have recited it to them, they would not have believed therein. 199 Thus do We cause (unbelief) to enter the hearts of sinners. 200 They will not believe in it until they clearly see the grievous chastisement. 201 But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 They will therefore say, “Will we get some respite?” 203 Seek haste then they with our torment? 204 Tell Me, if We do let them enjoy for years, 205 then there comes on them that they were promised, 206 none of their luxuries will be able to save them from the torment? 207 Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners - 208 to admonish them. We have never been unjust. 209 And it is not the Shayatin (devils) who have brought it (this Quran) down, 210 neither are they worthy of it, nor are they capable of it, 211 Indeed they have been banished from the place of hearing. 212 So call not thou unto another god along with Allah, lest thou be of the doomed. 213 And warn your nearest relations, 214 and extend kindness and affection to those of the believers who follow you. 215 but if they disobey thee, say: "I am free of responsibility for aught that you may do!" 216 And put your trust in Him Who is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate, 217 who can see whether you stand up 218 And your movement among those who prostrate. 219 He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. 220 Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They come down on every guilty impostor. 222 They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets, the erring follow them, 224 hast thou not seen how they wander in every valley 225 And that they say what they do not do? - 226 Save those who believed and worked righteous works and remembered Allah much, and vindicated themselves after they had been wronged. And anon those who do wrong shall come to know with what a translating they shall be translated. 227
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
