And truly, this (the Quran) is a revelation from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists), 192 The honest Spirit (Gabriel) brought it down 193 To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish. 194 in the clear Arabic tongue. 195 Its news was also mentioned in the ancient Books. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that the learned among the Children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 And if We had revealed it unto one of any other nation than the Arabs, 198 And had he recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus have We caused it (the denial of the Quran) to enter the hearts of the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists, sinners, etc.). 200 They will not believe therein until they behold the torment afflictive. 201 It shall come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 Then they will say: Are we to be reprieved? 203 So do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Think! If We let them enjoy life for some years, 205 Yet there comes to them at length the (Punishment) which they were promised! 206 What shall that which they enjoyed avail them? 207 Never have We destroyed a habitation till We had sent admonishers to them 208 to admonish them. We have never been unjust. 209 The devils did not bring it down. 210 they are not supposed to do so. Nor do have they the ability for such a task. 211 verily, [even] from hearing it are they utterly debarred! 212 Therefore do not worship another deity along with Allah, for you will be punished. 213 And warn your tribe (O Muhammad SAW) of near kindred. 214 And spread your wing of mercy for the believers following you. 215 If they do not obey you, tell them: "I am not responsible for what you do." 216 And put thy trust on the Exalted in Might, the Merciful,- 217 Who observes you when you rise (to pray) 218 and observes your movements among those who prostrate themselves. 219 Verily He! He is the Hearer, the Knower. 220 Shall I declare unto you upon whom the satans descend! 221 They descend upon every calumniator, sinner. 222 They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars. 223 And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 And they say what they do not do, 226 Except those who believe, and do good works and remember Allah in abundance and became victorious after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will surely know which turn they will be returning to (Hell). 227
