The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Sin. Those are the signs of the Koran and a Manifest Book, 1 A guidance and glad tidings unto the believers. 2 who establish Prayer and give Zakah, and have firm faith in the Hereafter. 3 As for those who will not believe in the life to come - behold, goodly have We made their own doings appear unto them, and so they stumble blindly to and fro 4 It is they for whom is the worst punishment, and they will be the greatest losers in the Hereafter. 5 You have been conveyed the Qur'an from One all-wise and all-knowing. 6 When Moses said to his people 'I observe a fire, and will bring you news of it, or I will bring you a flaming brand, that haply you shall warm yourselves.' 7 When he approached the fire, he was told, "Blessed is the one in the fire and those around it. All glory belongs to God, the Lord of the Universe. 8 O Moses, verily this is Me, Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise! 9 Throw down your staff." But when he saw it moving like a snake, he turned and fled. "Moses, do not be afraid! The messengers need have no fear in My presence; 10 as for those who do wrong and then do good after evil, I am most forgiving, most merciful. 11 "Now put thy hand into thy bosom, and it will come forth white without stain (or harm): (these are) among the nine Signs (thou wilt take) to Pharaoh and his people: for they are a people rebellious in transgression." 12 Then when Our enlightening signs came to them, they said, “This is clear magic.” 13 and they denied them, though their souls acknowledged them, wrongfully and out of pride. Behold, how was the end of the workers of corruption! 14
