The Ant (Al-Naml)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Ta Sin. These are verses from the Quran, a book that makes things clear; 1 it is guidance and good news for the believers 2 who perform the prayer, and pay the alms, and have sure faith in the Hereafter. 3 As for those who will not believe in the life to come - behold, goodly have We made their own doings appear unto them, and so they stumble blindly to and fro 4 It is they for whom is the worst punishment, and they will be the greatest losers in the Hereafter. 5 As for you, (O Muhammad), you are receiving the Qur'an from the Most Wise, the All-Knowing. 6 (Remember) when Musa (Moses) said to his household: "Verily! I have seen a fire, I will bring you from there some information, or I will bring you a burning brand, that you may warm yourselves." 7 But when he reached it, a voice called out: "Blessed is He who is in the fire and all around it. Praised be God, the Lord of all the worlds. 8 Moses, I am God, the Majestic and All-wise. 9 Cast down your staff' And when he saw it writhing like a serpent, he turned about retreating, and did not turn back. 'Moses, do not fear, indeed the Messengers do not fear (when they are) with Me, 10 Neither he who has been unjust, then he does good instead after evil, for surely I am the Forgiving, the Merciful: 11 Now put your hand inside your cloak next to your bosom and it will come out [shining] white, without any blemish. This will be one of the nine signs for Pharaoh and his people: for truly they are a rebellious people." 12 Then when Our signs came unto them illuminating, they said: this is a magic manifest. 13 They denied those Signs out of iniquity and arrogance although their hearts were convinced of their truth. So see how evil was the end of those mischief-makers! 14
