Say, (O Muhammad): "All praise be to Allah, and peace be on those of His servants whom He has chosen." (Ask them): "Who is better: Allah or the false gods that they associate with Him as His partners? 59 Is He who created the heavens and the earth, and sent water from the sky for you and caused gardens to grow full of beauty of which its tree you could never grow, is there a god with Allah? No, but they are a nation who set up equals with Him! 60 Is not he best Who hath made the earth a fixed abode and placed rivers in the midst thereof and placed firm mountains thereon, and hath set a barrier between the two seas? Is there any god along with Allah? Nay! but most of them know not. 61 Is He [not best] who responds to the desperate one when he calls upon Him and removes evil and makes you inheritors of the earth? Is there a deity with Allah? Little do you remember. 62 Nay - who is it that guides you in the midst of the deep darkness of land and sea, and sends forth the winds as a glad tiding of His coming grace? Could there be any divine power besides God? Sublimely exalted is God above anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity! 63 Nay - who is it that creates [all life] in the first instance, and then brings it forth anew? And who is it that provides you with sustenance out of heaven and earth? Could there be any divine power besides God? Say: "[If you think so,] produce your evidence - if you truly believe in your claim!" 64 Say: "No one in the heavens and the earth has knowledge of the unknown except God, nor can they know when they will be raised again. 65 nay, but their knowledge fails as to the Hereafter; nay, they are in doubt of it; nay, they are blind to it. 66
