Those who do not believe, say: "When we and our fathers have turned to dust, how shall we be raised again? 67 We have been promised this, and our fathers before; this is naught but the fairy-tales of the ancients.' 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 "Verily, your Lord is full of Grace for mankind, yet most of them do not give thanks." 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 There is nothing of the hidden in the heavens and the earth that is not recorded in the luminous Book. 75 Indeed this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they are at variance. 76 it is a guidance, and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Verily, [O believer,] thy Sustainer will judge between them in His wisdom - for He alone is almighty, all-knowing. 78 Therefor (O Muhammad) put thy trust in Allah, for thou (standest) on the plain Truth. 79 Truly thou canst not cause the dead to listen, nor canst thou cause the deaf to hear the call, (especially) when they turn back in retreat. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
