The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say, "Travel through the land and see how terrible was the end of the criminal ones". 69 And do not grieve upon them, nor be distressed because of their scheming. 70 Yet they say: "When will this promise come to pass? (Tell Us) if you speak the truth." 71 Say: 'It may be that riding behind you already is some part of that you seek to hasten on. 72 And indeed, your Lord is full of bounty for the people, but most of them do not show gratitude." 73 Verily your Lord knows what lies hidden in their breasts and what they disclose. 74 All the secrets in heavens and earth are recorded in the illustrious Book. 75 Verily, this Quran narrates to the Children of Israel most of that about which they differ. 76 And indeed it is a guidance and a mercy for the Muslims. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 You cannot make the dead listen and the deaf are unable to hear calls. Thus, they turn back on their heels. 80 You cannot guide the straying blind ones. You can only make hear those who believe in Our revelations submissively. 81 ۞ And when the word shall come to be fulfilled concerning them, We shall bring forth a beast of the earth speaking unto them, that the people have not of Our signs been convinced. 82
