The unbelievers say: 'When we and our fathers are turned to dust, shall we be brought forth? 67 We and our fathers were promised this before; these are but old stories." 68 Say: "Go ye through the earth and see what has been the end of those guilty (of sin)." 69 And grieve not over them or be in distress from what they conspire. 70 And they say: when will this Promise be fufilled if ye say sooth? 71 Say: It may be that a part of that which ye would hasten on is close behind you. 72 And surely your Lord is the Lord of grace to men, but most of them are not grateful. 73 And verily thine Lord knoweth whatsoever their breasts conceal and whatsoever they make known. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven and the earth, but is in a Clear Book (i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). 75 This Quran explains to the children of Israel much of what they differ over, 76 and, verily, it is a guidance and a grace unto all who believe [in it]. 77 Indeed your Lord judges between them with His command; and He is the Almighty, the All Knowing. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 Surely you cannot make the dead hear you, nor can you make the deaf hear your call if they turn back in flight, 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
