And those who disbelieve say, "When we have become dust as well as our forefathers, will we indeed be brought out [of the graves]? 67 Indeed, we were promised this - we and our forefathers - in the past as well; it is nothing but fables of ancient times!" 68 Say, "Roam across the earth and observe what was the end of the sinful ones." 69 But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots. 70 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?" 71 Say, “It could be that a part of what you are impatient for is (already) after you.” 72 Now, verily, thy Sustainer is indeed limitless in His bounty unto men - but most of them are bereft of gratitude. 73 Your Lord certainly knows whatever their hearts conceal or reveal. 74 And not a thing is there hidden in heaven and earth but it is in a Manifest Book. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 and, verily, it is a guidance and a grace unto all who believe [in it]. 77 Your Lord will judge among them according to His own decree. He is Majestic and All-Knowing. 78 Hence, place thy trust in God [alone] - for, behold, that in which thou believest is truth self-evident. 79 Verily, you cannot make the dead to hear (i.e. benefit them and similarly the disbelievers), nor can you make the deaf to hear the call, when they flee, turning their backs. 80 just as thou canst not lead the blind [of heart] out of their error; none canst thou make hear save such as [are willing to] believe in Our messages, and thus surrender themselves unto Us. 81 ۞ Now, [as for the deaf and blind of heart -] when the word [of truth] stands revealed against them, We shall bring forth unto them out of the earth a creature, which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our messages. 82
