The unbelievers say: "When we become dust, we and our forefathers, shall we really be brought out (from our graves)? 67 We were promised this, forsooth, we and our fathers. (All) this is naught but fables of the men of old. 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 And grieve not for them and be not distressed because of what they plan. 70 And they ask: 'When will this promise come, if what you say is true' 71 Say: 'It may be that part of what you seek to hasten on is already riding behind you' 72 Surely, your Lord is bountiful to the people; yet most of them do not give thanks. 73 And verily thine Lord knoweth whatsoever their breasts conceal and whatsoever they make known. 74 for there is nothing [so deeply] hidden in the heavens or on earth but is recorded in [His] clear decree. 75 Indeed, this Qur'an relates to the Children of Israel most of that over which they disagree. 76 certainly it is guidance and a blessing for the believers. 77 Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgement. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. 78 So put thy trust in Allah: for thou art on (the path of) manifest Truth. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ When the sentence will have been passed against them, We shall bring forth beastly brutes from the earth who will torment them, for men certainly do not believe Our signs. 82
