The unbelievers say: 'When we and our fathers are turned to dust, shall we be brought forth? 67 Indeed we and our fathers had been promised this before. It is nothing but the earlier people's lore." 68 Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of the sinners.' 69 And grieve you not for them, nor be straitened (in distress) because of what they plot. 70 And they say: When (will) this promise (be fulfilled), if ye are truthful? 71 Say, "Perhaps it is close behind you - some of that for which you are impatient. 72 But verily thy Lord is full of grace to mankind: Yet most of them are ungrateful. 73 The Lord knows full well what they conceal in their hearts and what they disclose: 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 Surely this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that concerning which they are at variance; 76 And truly, it (this Quran) is a guide and a mercy to the believers. 77 Indeed, your Lord will judge between them by His [wise] judgement. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 Surely you do not make the dead to hear, and you do not make the deaf to hear the call when they go back retreating. 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none hear save these who believe in Our signs and who have submitted themselves. 81 ۞ And when the Word falls on them, We will bring out from the earth a beast that shall speak to them: 'Indeed the people were not certain of Our verses.' 82
