And the disbelievers said, “Will we, when we and our forefathers have turned into dust, be removed again?” 67 We were promised this before, and so were our fathers. It is but the fictitious story of the ancients' 68 Say: "Go all over the earth and behold what happened in the end to those [who were thus] lost in sin!" 69 But grieve not over them, nor distress thyself because of their plots. 70 And they say, "When is [the fulfillment of] this promise, if you should be truthful?" 71 Say, "Perhaps some of the things which you wish to experience immediately are very close to you." 72 Surely thy Lord is bountiful to men; but most of them are not thankful. 73 And indeed your Lord knows what is hidden in their bosoms, and what they disclose. 74 Nor is there aught of the unseen, in heaven or earth, but is (recorded) in a clear record. 75 Surely, this Koran relates to the Children of Israel most of that which they are at variance. 76 And verily it is a guidance and a mercy unto the believers. 77 Certainly your Lord will decide between them in His wisdom, He is the Almighty, the All Knowing, 78 Therefore rely on Allah; surely you are on the clear truth. 79 Thou shalt not make the dead to hear, neither shalt thou make the deaf to hear the call when they turn about, retreating. 80 And you will not guide the blind out of their error; and none listen to you except those who accept faith in Our signs, and they are Muslims. 81 ۞ Now, [as for the deaf and blind of heart -] when the word [of truth] stands revealed against them, We shall bring forth unto them out of the earth a creature, which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our messages. 82
